Privacy Policy
Haint Spotter, by Vivifyze LLC · Last updated October 22, 2026
Short version: Haint Spotter doesn't collect any data about you. Everything the app records stays on your iPhone unless you choose to share it.
What the app uses, and where it goes
- Camera. The rear cameras (and LiDAR, where available) are analyzed on your device to detect figures and measure range. Frames aren't sent anywhere.
- Microphone. Used only while you record an investigation session. Recordings are saved in the app on your iPhone.
- Motion and barometer. Accelerometer, magnetometer and pressure readings are processed on your device and saved with your sessions.
- Photos. The app only adds images and videos to your library when you tap save. It doesn't read your library.
- Space weather. The app downloads the public planetary K index from NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center. This request contains no information about you.
What we don't do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites.
- No uploading of your sessions, recordings, photos or sensor data. Vivifyze has no servers that receive them.
Purchases
Haint Spotter Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment; we receive no payment details and no personal information from Apple about you.
Sharing and exporting
When you share or export a photo, video, audio clip or session file, it goes where you send it using iOS's share sheet. That's your choice and outside our control.
Deleting your data
Delete sessions inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone.
Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
